THE JUNK The iconic Junk is recognized far and wide as Koh Tao’s coolest dive boat. With a legal capacity of 15 passengers, access is restricted to 8 divers with their attending instructors.
THE ZODIAC When time is of the essence, our Zodiac brand rigid inflatable boat is powered by a 150 horsepower Yamaha engine and is capable of speeds up to 60 km/h! Much smaller than The Junk, she can take two guests to any dive site around Koh Tao within half an hour.

REGULATORS
We are the only dive center on Koh Tao to provide our divers with Apeks US4/AT20 regulators! As balanced regulators, these regs will provide the best possible breathing performance in all situations. They are equipped with a choice of mouthpieces to ensure your comfort!
BCDS
We are proud to announce that we are the first and only dive center on Koh Tao to provide our divers with Aqualung Pro HD buoyancy compensators! This model features integrated weight pockets, taking strain off of your back and putting you in effortless trim.
MASKS & SNORKEL
All of our masks have soft, non-transparent skirts, reducing glare and making you look cool. Our straps are feature neoprene covers reducing hair tangles. Mask models include Tusa Freedom One, Tusa Geminus, Tusa Freedom HD and the funky Beuchat Maxlux S. Our Tusa Reeftourer snorkels are compact and streamlined.
WETSUITS
As Koh Tao’s water temperature rarely drops below 29 degrees,it is quite often possible to dive with as little as a rashguard and bathing suit. In order to stay warm and to offer better protection from the elements, we provide our divers with 3mm wetsuits.
DIVE INSTRUMENTS
The wrist mounted Suunto Zoop provides users with the most vital dive information in a convenient location. Navigate effectively with wrist mounted Suunto SK-7 compasses. The compasses are also bungee mounted to wrist slates, allowing our divers to quickly jot down notes or a dive plan.
BOOTS AND FINS
As a tropical destination, closed heel fins are generally adequate for snorkeling and some diving. Improperly fitting fins however can quickly cause cramps and blisters. The Jamahkiri Diving Club provides all of its divers with open heel fins and neoprene boots for effective and comfortable propulsion. We use both OMS Slipstream and Apeks RK3 fins, which are a favorite of serious divers.
Dive Center & Classroom
Our brand new dive center is conveniently located across from the hotel’s reception, allowing you to sign up for your dives as soon as you arrive! Course theory is taught here as well in an intimate environment. Our dive center also features an extensive but not expensive retail section. Our divers benefit from a 10% reduction on all retail prices!
Pool
To ensure convenience, safety and comfort, beginner and refresher divers conduct skill practice here in our majestically appointed swimming pool, which features a large shallow area for practicing basic skills and a 2 deep section for perfecting buoyancy and swimming skills. Try not to get distracted by the stunning views of Shark Bay!
Marina
The Marina is where we store both the shops and guests personal diving equipment. It is also possible to rent kayaks, snorkeling sets and lifejackets here. In addition to sunbathing by the sea, it is possible to go snorkeling with turtles and sharks from here. Both of our boats leave directly from Shark Bay after a brief transfer from our private jetty.
